UNDERWATER SCENE
Underwater scenes are one of the most exciting, inspiring, and gorgeous environments in real life and computer graphics world alike. And with this awe-striking appearance comes a very complex array of possibilities. From a photographer’s point of view alone, underwater scenes seem to be one of the most challenging places and situations to be at, let alone the difficulty of acquiring a proper lighting and the satisfactory combination of shutter speeds and apertures. Same thing applies also to recreating such a scene in computer graphics, specifically in 3D.
This scene was created in Vue XStream and rendered in 36 minutes
with a proper placement of light and integrating the proper cg elements at the right spot, this scene turned out to be a well described underwater scene in itself.
STRATA
strata refers to stacked-up layers of sedimentary rock. Other kinds of rocks can have layering in them, but the word strata is reserved for sedimentary rocks - rocks composed of individual fragments of minerals or other rocks.
This scene was created in Vue XStream and rendered in 12 minutes
with a proper placement of light and using the procedural terrain and the strata property properly, this scene turned out to be a well described strata formation.
CG INTEGRATION
This scene was created in Vue XStream and rendered in 20 minutes,
with proper placement of cg elements and properly sculpting the mountains to fit them in, this scene looked complete but then the characters were added in to give a small theme to the shot.
